WHO WE ARE

The Northwest Palliative Care Social Work Network is an affinity group intended to build community among social workers specializing in palliative care across our region.  Our members practice in hospitals, outpatient clinics, embedded specialty services, and outreach programs; in urban and rural areas; and with teams of various size though often with few or no other palliative care social worker in their institutions. The Network creates space for us to share experience, resources, educational opportunities, and new initiatives to support best practice and nurture the professional development of participants and our discipline.   To learn more or join the Network, contact us at  nwpallcaresw@gmail.com

MEETINGS & EVENTS

The Network currently holds gatherings at 12:00 on the first Thursday of February, April, June, August, October, and December.  Special interest groups meet alternate months according to participant availability. For now, meetings are on Zoom and we hope to have in person gatherings when it's safe.   To join our next meeting, contact us at  nwpallcaresw@gmail.com. _________________________________________ Cambia Palliative Care Center for Excellence 2021 Summer Lecture Series LEARN MORE HERE   |   REGISTER HERE   Hosted by the University of Washington Cambia Palliative Care Center of Excellence (CPCCE), this FREE virtual lecture series spans across seven Friday lunch sessions in July and August 2021.  Entrance to the livestream with speaker Q&A is guaranteed for the first 300 registrants.  If you are not able to attend live, you will still be able to access recordings of each lecture on the   CPCCE Youtube channel   at the conclusion of the series.
